When faith keeps knocking, God’s timing opens the door.

Scripture (NIV):
“For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” — Matthew 7:8
Reflection:
There are moments in life when it feels like heaven is silent. You’ve prayed, waited, and wondered if God has heard you at all. But Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:8 are a divine reminder that God always responds—just not always in the way or timing we expect. Asking, seeking, and knocking are not passive acts; they reflect faith in motion.
When you keep asking, you’re choosing to trust that God listens. When you keep seeking, you’re demonstrating that your heart is open to His will. And when you keep knocking, you’re showing persistence in the belief that what’s behind that door is worth the wait. God is not ignoring you—He’s preparing something better than you imagined. Sometimes His “not yet” is protecting you. Sometimes His “no” is redirecting you. And sometimes His silence is strengthening your faith for what’s next.
Application:
What are you asking God for today? Have you grown weary of seeking or stopped knocking because you feel unheard? Take one step of faith this week: pray again. Seek His presence, not just His answers. Knock with expectation, trusting that God knows the right door and the perfect time to open it.
🕊️ Reflective question: What might God be teaching you during the waiting?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for reminding me that You hear every prayer and see every step I take in faith. Help me to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking with a heart that trusts Your timing. Strengthen my patience and deepen my faith as I wait for Your perfect answer. Amen.
Takeaway/Affirmation:
🌿 “I will keep knocking in faith, trusting that God’s timing is perfect.”
