The Grave Is Empty — And So Is My Fear

Real-Life Confession

Let’s be honest… sometimes life still tries to feel heavy, even though we serve a risen Savior.

Bills still show up.
Stress still taps on your shoulder.
Your thoughts still try to spiral like they forgot what Sunday morning means.

And it’s like… wait.
Didn’t Jesus already win?

Why does this still feel like a battle?

Truth Shift

That verse is simple… but it carries weight.

“He is not here; He has risen.”

In other words:
Death lost.
Fear lost.
The enemy lost.

Jesus didn’t just rise for a moment in history — He rose with power that still covers you today.

So when life feels heavy, it’s not because victory disappeared…
it’s because we forgot to stand in it.

Personal Application

If He is risen, then:

You are not stuck.
You are not defeated.
You are not fighting for victory — you are living from it.

That situation stressing you out?
It doesn’t outrank the resurrection.

That fear whispering in your ear?
It doesn’t have authority over a risen King.

So today, instead of carrying what feels dead and heavy…
you get to walk in what’s alive and powerful.

Holy Clapback 🔥

The grave is empty — and so is the power of fear over my life.
I don’t serve a defeated Savior, so I refuse to live like a defeated person.

Throwback Prayer

God, thank You that You didn’t stay in the grave.
Thank You that Your power is still alive and active in my life today.
Help me walk like someone who knows You already won.
Lift every heavy place in me and replace it with resurrection hope.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Affirmation

I walk in resurrection power, not fear.

Optional Action Step

Say out loud today:
“Jesus is alive — and that changes everything for me.”

And just in case you need the reminder written somewhere solid…

Sis… He is risen.
Which means whatever tried to bury you?

Yeah… it doesn’t get the final word. 💛
