All Things Are Possible Through Faith in Christ

Scripture (NIV)

“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” – Mark 9:23

Reflection

Sometimes life throws challenges at us that feel far too big to overcome—whether it’s a strained relationship, a financial burden, a health struggle, or a dream that seems out of reach. In those moments, our natural instinct is to doubt: Can God really handle this? Will He come through for me?

When Jesus spoke these words in Mark 9:23, He was answering a father desperate for his son’s healing. The man’s faith was wavering, yet Jesus reminded him—and us—that the key isn’t in our own ability but in God’s. Faith doesn’t deny the reality of our struggles; it declares that God’s power is greater than what we see.

Here’s the important part: belief doesn’t mean we control the outcome, but it does mean we open the door for God to move in ways beyond our imagination. Faith shifts our eyes off our limitations and onto the limitless One.

Application

Today, ask yourself: Where am I struggling to believe that God can work? Write that situation down and surrender it to Him in prayer. Each time doubt creeps in, speak this truth aloud: “With God, all things are possible.”

Prayer

Lord, I confess that sometimes my faith wavers, and I focus more on the size of my problems than the greatness of Your power. Strengthen my belief today. Help me trust that nothing is impossible for You. I surrender my worries into Your hands and choose to walk in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Takeaway/Affirmation

“I believe that with God, all things are possible.”
